...to my ePortfolio. My name is Emily Horwath, and I work as a Senior Financial Analyst at Johns Hopkins Hospital in East Baltimore (my coworkers and I are pictured to the right).  Working in the city has given me a unique perspective on urban livability challenges.  

 

This website is exploration of my ethnographic research of opportunities for urban innovation in the region of Jonestown in Baltimore.  

Please explore each page to delve into new urban livability themes and perspectives.  The At a Glance page gives a snapshot view of Jonestown, including maps with demographic overviews.  The other pages explore unique themes such as  Healthy Habitat and Cohesive Communities.

My Professional Bio: Experienced Financial Analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Skilled in Finance, International Relations, and Live Events. Strong finance professional working toward a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focused Healthcare Management from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School.
